A Redditor, Allenxzz, shared that he was trying to run a full Bitcoin in China, even though he found it challenging.

A Redditor posted about this information on November 5th with an image of Bitcoin Core, showing the error message. All Bitcoin transactions are prohibited in China as of 2019, but Chinese law recognizes Bitcoin as a virtual asset that is protected in May 2022.
When asked by someone in the comment section, whether it’s safe for them to run a node in China, Alenxzz replied, “ I’m using vpn to connect to main net. There is no law to ban running bitcoin node, but using vpn is not allowed.
