Sony partners with Crypto.com

As per the reports, Sony Electronics (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (SES) has teamed up with Crypto.com to offer the ability to pay with USDC, a U.S. dollar-pegged stablecoin, on Sony Store Online, making it easier for SES customers to use cryptocurrencies for purchases.

The global advancement of cryptocurrency payments as a payment method drives this new platform integration, which follows consumer demand for technological innovation. Located in Singapore, Crypto.com operates as one of today’s largest growing cryptocurrency platforms that serves 140 million users who come from 90 different nations. The company leads the market as a leading expert in ethical compliance and data security.

Chin Tah Ang from Crypto.com Singapore reaffirmed his excitement about the strategic collaboration with Sony Electronics Singapore explaining how it demonstrates that everyday payment through crypto remains straightforward and available to all users. Through this partnership users gain enhanced control of their crypto assets for practical world usage and SES gets the chance to attract new customers.

Sony Electronics Singapore leads the Singapore market by establishing itself as the first consumer electronics company to accept cryptocurrency payments directly through Crypto.com. USDC serves as an initial payment option through Crypto.com Pay which enables customers to buy products from Sony Store Online. The ongoing plan at SES includes expanding the supported cryptocurrency choices for a broader payment option range among their user base.

The company remains dedicated to continuous development by broadening its payment selection to lead the changing digital economy. The secure payment system from Crypto.com serves as a strategic, forward-thinking move because it mirrors the payment choices popular among contemporary consumers. To spread the awareness that Sony stores online Singapore, two offers have been launched exclusively for Crypto.com users.

Tier 1 – A complimentary LinkBuds Speaker (worth S$299) will be given to the first 50 qualified customers who purchase at least S$300 at the Sony Store Online using Crypto.com Pay.

Tier 2– Twenty USDC will be credited to the Crypto.com accounts of the first 150 qualified users who utilise Crypto.com Pay to make a minimum purchase of S$100 at the Sony Store Online.

Customers can obtain both prizes if they spend S$300 or more, provided that they are available within the first 50 Tier 1 and 150 Tier 2 redemptions.
