P2P.org To Become A Tron Super Representative (Sr) Validator

P2P.org, a Web3 firm offering staking-as-a-business services, has successfully been voted in as a TRON Super Representative (SR) validator. With this achievement, the staking service provider becomes the latest SR in TRON’s blockchain ecosystem. It can now produce blocks and earn rewards for securing the blockchain.

With over 130 institutional clients under its wing, P2P.org CEO Alex Esin believes becoming a TRON SR will create new opportunities for their clients. The recent move establishes a new pathway for institutional TRX staking on the TRON network.

“Becoming a TRON Super Representative Validator represents a significant advancement in our validator portfolio,” Esin added. “This expansion strengthens our position across more than 40 networks and creates valuable new opportunities for our institutional partners to optimize their TRX holdings with industry-leading staking solutions.”

TRON’s Super Representatives, or block producers, are 27 elected validators that form the backbone of the network’s delegated proof of stake (DPoS) consensus. The SRs are elected through voting, with any account being eligible to enter the voting period. The candidates can apply to become an SR by paying 9,999 TRX (~$2455) and then participating in the election.

TRX holders vote for SR candidates using their staked TRX (referred to as Tron Power). The top 27 candidates with the most votes become active Super Representatives and are responsible for block production. Super Partners (SRPs), or backup SRs, rank below the top 27 and may still earn rewards but do not actively produce blocks unless they receive enough votes to become an SR.

Only a Super Representative (SR) or a Super Partner (backup SR) can act as a validator on the Tron network, helping validate transactions, produce blocks, and maintain the security of the network. They do this by producing blocks every three seconds, voting on governance decisions, and sharing block rewards with their voters.

As a new elected validator on TRON, P2P.org will help strengthen TRON’s infrastructure and create pathways for institutions to access staking rewards on the network.

“With its scalability and minimal transaction costs, TRON has become the blockchain of choice for an increasing number of DeFi platforms focused on institutional adoption,” said Sam Elfarra, Community Spokesperson for the TRON DAO. “As the builders of a thriving ecosystem with hundreds of institutional clients, we are thrilled to welcome P2P.org as a Super Representative.”
