Elon Musk is now actively promoting Donald Trump’s presidential campaign for the upcoming U.S. election. Musk has publicly announced his support for Trump and his running mate, JD Vance. He not only joined Trump at the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, calling himself Dark MAGA, but has been creating awareness among citizens to vote for their rights.
Musk’s support for Trump is highlighted in his statement, “President Trump must win to preserve the Constitution. He must win to preserve democracy in America. This is a must-win situation.” He has been a great advocate of free speech, rights to bear arms, and cryptocurrencies. He believes Trump is a better man for the job than Kamala Harris.
In his appearance alongside Trump in Pennsylvania, Musk declared, “I’m not just MAGA; I’m Dark MAGA.”
To create awareness among voters, the billionaire tech mogul is set to give a series of talks on free speech throughout Pennsylvania. There are no fees, and all attendees have to do is sign the petition filled out by a PAC founded by him.
With this Musk aims to galvanize support among voters and highlight the campaign’s focus on fundamental rights.
Elon Musk’s support for Trump is not limited to public speeches and campaign promotions, as he has also donated millions of dollars. Over the past three months, Musk has contributed approximately $75 million to his Pro Donald Trump Super PAC, positioning him among the top Republican donors.
According to federal disclosures released Tuesday, Musk’s PAC, America PAC, raised about $72 million between July and September alone. This financial backing highlights his influential role in the campaign, especially in critical battleground states that could determine the election outcome.
Most recently, The Political Action Committee (PAC) for “Trump 47” has raised $7.5 million in crypto to support Trump’s campaign for the upcoming U.S. presidential election.
Trump has also announced that he would enlist Elon Musk to run a “government efficiency commission” if he wins a second term as US president. Musk have even given it a moniker inspired from ‘Department of Government Efficiency,” inspired from his favorite cryptocurrency DOGE coin.
The new depart will form a taskforce under Musk to conduct a complete financial and performance audit of the entire federal government and make recommendations for drastic reforms.
