Usain Bolt, Step App Partner for an E2E web3 Fitness Metaverse

Usain Bolt, Step App Partner for an E2E web3 Fitness Metaverse

The FitFi platform Step App announces its private web3 gamified fitness metaverse app’s beta testnet launch, with Usain Bolt as its ‘core ambassador’. Launching its ‘SNEAKs’ digital footwear that can be bought, traded, and worn digitally.

Step App’s private beta is live and stakers can sign-up for exclusive access. Public access shall soon follow, for iOS and Android devices. Users can sign-up to join the Step App revolution.

Giving its over 20 million pre-signed users a platform to exercise, socialize, play, and earn, the app will offer exercise-to-economic freedom avenues to its users. The users will earn KCAL tokens with their steps.

The world-leading 8-time Olympic gold medalist and 11-time world champion has this to say on the Step App partnership, “Exercise has always been, and still is a massive part of my life. When I learned what the team at Step App were building, I was instantly inspired and wanted to be part of this incredibly important global movement.”

The Step App-Bolt partnership aims to bolster a healthier life vision via web3 to ‘onboard millions of users around the world.’ It also intends to attract ‘other premium brand partners and governmental organizations.’ 

Under the Usain Bolt x Step App partnership, the sprinter will join Step App’s physical and social media events as its brand presentation face.

On the Step App-Bolt partnership, Step App CEO Kirill Volgin says, “Our mandate is to inspire people to exercise daily so they feel better physically & mentally and feel we will achieve this by incentivizing their exercise by paying them in crypto.”

The partnership signals Step App’s commitment to bring fresh brands and corporations into the Cryptoverse. The key features of the proposed app are as follows:

  • Augmented Reality: Upon completing their fitness quests, the metaverse characters of users tend to evolve.
  • Gamification: A fitness-to-social player-vs-player matchmaking experience.
  • Earn: Earn KCAL tokens upon finishing quests, earn income as you finish your fitness goals.

Details on events and marketing events in partnership with Bolt for user onramp will also be coming soon.
