DC Artist Alley Series 1 released NFT collectibles featuring four classic women of DC – Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Supergirl and Hawkgirl. The DC Artists Alley is a stylized NFT collection based on designs and illustrations from some of today’s cutting-edge artists.
This series is available globally. The launch was scheduled for 4 December at 8 AM PT, exclusively on the VeVe app for Android and iOS.
This highly-detailed collectibles is inspired by the comic convention experience, with unique, artistic viewpoints on the DC Universe. The surprise element is the Blind box! These DC collectibles can only be purchased in a blind box, meaning the buyer would not know which collectible or rarity he/she has collected until after successful purchase.
From there, DC enthusiasts can continue to expand their collection with additional blind boxes. They also can interact with other users in the market to complete their DC iconic women set.
This collectibles’ rarity is raging from common to ultra-rare. For example, Wonder woman collectibles are common – Batgirl, Supergirl, and Hawkgirl rarity are Uncommon, Rare and Ultra Rare respectively. These NFTs are released with each women action figure having a different number of editions and edition type.
Well, this is not the first time when some action comic characters are brought into NFT space as collectibles. In August, 60,000 Marvel’s comic NFTs of ‘Fantastic Four’ sold out on VeVe in just 2 minutes.
