A memecoin carrying the Robinhood name has become one of the fastest movers in the crypto market, barely a day after it began trading. The token has no exchange listing, no product, and no announced partnership. Its rally comes on Robinhood Chain, a network where newly launched meme tokens have repeatedly posted sharp gains followed by steep losses.
What Is Hood Inu (HI)?
Hood Inu, which trades under the ticker HI, is a memecoin, a type of cryptocurrency driven mainly by internet culture and community interest rather than an underlying product or revenue. The token runs on Robinhood Chain, the blockchain network backed by Robinhood. The network is separate from the Robinhood brokerage app, and HI is not Robinhood stock.
The project’s official website describes HI as a community meme and “the people’s super inu,” inspired by the Robinhood name. The site does not announce a listing on Robinhood, a partnership, or any product.
The token’s contract address on Robinhood Chain is 0xee049979960d5e42b389b941ec45790ca7b6e1f7, as shown on the Robinhood Chain block explorer.
Hood Inu Price Today
HI traded at $0.02036 on October 5, 2026, up 316.6% over 24 hours, according to CoinGecko market data. The token ranked #895 on the platform at the time.

The 24-hour range ran from a low of $0.002632 to a high of $0.02257. At press time, the price sat about 9.8% below that intraday high. Priced against Bitcoin (BTC), HI traded at roughly 0.0000002354 BTC.
Both the market capitalization, which is the token’s price multiplied by its circulating supply, and the fully diluted valuation (FDV), which counts every token that will ever exist, stood at $20.3 million. The two figures match because circulating, total, and maximum supply are all 1 billion HI. No tokens are locked or scheduled for release, so token unlocks do not explain the move.
Reported 24-hour trading volume reached $107.78 million on the same page.
Volume Far Exceeds Liquidity
The headline gain resembles a repricing, but the trading data points to early price discovery in a new pool.
HI began trading around October 4. Data from GeckoTerminal showed the main HI/WETH pool, which pairs HI with Wrapped Ether (WETH), at roughly 18 hours old. That pool held about $487,000 in liquidity, meaning the funds available for traders to buy and sell against, while HI carried a market value near $21 million.
The pool’s own volume, close to $18 million, was far below the more than $100 million reported on CoinGecko. On a token this new, that gap is significant. When daily turnover runs many times higher than available liquidity, it usually means the same tokens are changing hands repeatedly, not that $100 million in new capital has entered the market.
OpenSea’s token page showed about 3,800 holders and one-day volume near $18 million. A broad holder base reduces the risk of a single wallet controlling supply. It does not change the fact that thin liquidity can move price sharply in either direction.
No Confirmed Catalyst Behind the Rally
No exchange listing, partnership, or development update has been announced to explain the surge. The project’s own materials present HI only as a community token.
The Hood Inu name is also shared. A separate token called Hood Inu, with a different contract address, already trades as a Robinhood Chain dog coin and is promoted through hoodinu.com. Traders searching for the “Hood Inu price” may land on the wrong asset, which makes checking the contract address before any transaction essential.
Robinhood Chain Has Become a Memecoin Venue
HI’s rally follows a pattern seen repeatedly on Robinhood Chain since its public mainnet launch on July 1, 2026. The network crossed $100 million in total value locked (TVL) within a week of going live.
Cash Cat led the first wave of meme activity on the chain, then gave back most of its gains. By late July, Cash Cat had fallen nearly 75% from its peak.
Launchpads, platforms that let anyone create and launch a token quickly, have driven much of the network’s activity. Among them, Pons claimed the top spot for onchain launchpad fees as Robinhood Chain activity built up.
That activity has also drawn bad actors. In September, one analyst linked at least $18.43 million in extractions to 53 memecoin launches on the chain.
HI fits this pattern: a sub-cent opening price, a recognizable name, and a network where fast-moving meme trading is already common.
Hood Inu Price Analysis: Levels to Watch
The figure that matters is not the 316% gain. It is whether HI holds above the $0.02 area once trading volume cools, and whether pool liquidity grows beyond a few hundred thousand dollars.
A drop back toward the 24-hour low of $0.002632 would erase most of the day’s gains. A move above the $0.02257 high would carry more weight only if it came with deeper liquidity rather than repeated trading through the same small pool.
On the available evidence, the Hood Inu price surge reflects early price discovery for a new token, not a fundamental change in its value.
