Just almost 24 hours after announcing his vision for a new U.S. Crypto Reserve and naming five cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin in the list, U.S. President Donald Trump has now hinted at another major announcement he will be making later on Tuesday night.
Trump, via his official account on ‘Truth Social’”, said, “Tomorrow night will be big. I will tell it like it is!”. This short message has left the crypto space bubbling with curiosity as many wonder if it will be about any crypto related investment.
The president has been fulfilling his promises to the industry since he took office. First, he signed an Executive order on Digital Assets in January, directing the Presidential Working Group on Digital Assets to study the creation of a Crypto Reserve.
Then, just yesterday, he confirmed that the reserve would include XRP, Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), Bitcoin (BTC), and Ethereum (ETH). Now, with his latest post, the crypto community is on edge, eagerly awaiting what’s next.
Meanwhile, the crypto market went crazy following the news about the crypto reserve. Just today alone, Bitcoin has gained 9% in its value, surging from an intraday low of $85,650 to now trading at $ 93,388. Even Etheruem didn’t miss out as it sees 7% to $2,3771. In fact, the whole crypto market is up.
Now, with Trump’s new cryptic message, speculations are high. Will he announce a direct government investment in crypto? We will have to wait and see. What’s for sure is that its repercussions will be felt across markets.
