The highly anticipated Bitcoin Amsterdam Conference 2024 has officially begun, running from October 9-10. Following a massive event earlier this year in Miami, the global Bitcoin community is now gathering in Europe to discuss the future of Bitcoin.
As many as 5,000 people are expected to attend this event, while more than 150 speakers are planned for the event, so this two-day event will be a major event for Bitcoin supporters, investors, and managers.
The conference will have big names such as Jack Mallers, the CEO of Strike, who will speak about “The Bitcoin Revolution” and Elizabeth Stark, the CEO of Lightning Labs, who will facilitate discussions on Bitcoin’s technology and adoption.
One of the sessions was held by the cypherpunk pioneer and Blockstream CEO Adam Back who once said, “We will never know who Satoshi is,” about the anonymous Bitcoin creator. Even comments made by Adam are becoming popular, especially after the HBO documentary that was produced regarding this mystery.
Another session was held by Joana Cotar, a member of the German parliament, entitled “How Bitcoin Will Change National Economies” to explain that Bitcoin will help fight inflation and emancipate people.
She also pointed out that Bitcoin provides economic freedom and financial access to people around the world particularly the African continent and the developing world.
As inflation continues to rise in Europe, most of the topics to be discussed at the event will include the use of Bitcoin as a store of value, among others, other issues such as regulation, and mining.
The Bitcoin 2024 Conference in Amsterdam is an essential event for the Bitcoin community as it exhibits essential opinions and debates. As the industry pioneers discuss, this event proves that Bitcoin can become the driving force of the financial industry.
