The world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, has partnered with Wtech to launch the Binance Women in Technology Academy, to enhance financial literacy and empower young women in Web 3.0, blockchain, and crypto.

The initiative plans to educate 2,800 women and girls in 10 countries, including Africa and Brazil, with initial programs in Burundi, Brazil, and South Africa. 

The goal is to introduce blockchain technology to women in developing nations, offering opportunities for future employment and breaking barriers to poverty and unemployment. 

The 6-8 week program, conducted twice a week for two hours, will be in English, Portuguese, and French, targeting women aged 18-35, emphasizing access to education for impactful change. 

The collaboration is a commendable initiative, fostering financial literacy and empowerment for women in the tech industry, bridging gaps, and creating global opportunities.
