Flipkart to feature Polygonscan Block Explorer

The co-founder of layer-2 scaling solution Polygon, Sandeep Nailwal, revealed that Polygonscan blockchain explorer will be featured on the e-commerce giant Flipkart’s app. It is bringing the world to Web3 in preparation for widespread adoption.

A blockchain explorer is one of the most important tools in the arsenal of a crypto enthusiast, drawing data from a blockchain and presenting it to the user in a searchable and accessible format.

Flipkart’s FireDrops feature, which enables limited-edition NFTs, has been available on the Android and iOS apps since July 22. And the tech firm ‘Nothing’ collaborated to drop the very first NFT, ‘Black Dot’ at FireDrops. Users can now mint these NFTs, which they can then verify on the Polygonblock explorer.

The e-commerce firm has been experimenting with new Web 3.0 and metaverse use cases such as NFT, virtual storefronts, and play-to-earn.
