OpenSea rolls out Card payments Via MoonPay

Even you don’t have crypto, you can now easily purchase NFTs on OpenSea. OpenSea, the leading NFT marketplace, now accepts card payments via MoonPay services for all NFT purchases.

MoonPay offers a simple process for users with its NFT checkout with a card. And now, OpenSea supports the integration where you can buy ETH with a “Buy with card” option depending on your geographic area.

NFT collectors will be able to pay directly with a card, as well as through Apple Pay and Google Pay, among other methods, without first converting to specific cryptocurrencies.

To add funds to your OpenSea wallet directly using MoonPay, simply enter the amount of ETH you want to buy and your wallet address. If you do not already have a MoonPay account, you must first create one through a KYC process. Then you can use the card option on OpenSea with ease.

Although the move aims to bring non-crypto people into the NFT fold, some knowledge of the crypto space is still required because all NFTs on OpenSea deliveries are handled on-chain.

Mastercard partnered with Coinbase a few months ago to allow customers to buy NFTs with their debit and credit cards, making it easier for users to join the NFT ecosystem by simplifying the user experience.
