Once again, Another NFTs collection from Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) broke the last record of the most expensive NFT as yesterday Bored Ape #8817 was sold for a whopping $3.4 million on Sotheby’s Metaverse marketplace.
Bored Ape #8817 is an NFT from a BAYC, which is basically 10,000 unique computer-generated apes images with different properties on the Ethereum Blockchain created by Yuga Labs.
This is the fourth-highest sale of the NFT from the BAYC collection in the last 40 days, which crossed the bar of $1 million and replaced a tag of ‘most expensive’ NFT of Bored Ape Yacht Club.
The Sale of Bored Ape #8817 replaced a previous NFT Bored Ape #8585, which was sold for $2.7 million (696.969 ETH) on Oct 21.
The NFT contains solid gold fur with an orange background. The ape wore a wool turtleneck spinner hat and rainbow spinner hat, with silver hoop earrings. The rarity score of this NFT on rarity. tools are 297.37.
