Bored Ape #8585 NFT Sold for nearly $2.7 Million (696.969 ETH)

Once again, Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) had marked another milestone in the NFT world as one of its NFT, Bored Ape #8585 sold for nearly $2.7 million (696.969 ETH) on the leading NFT marketplace Opensea, which makes this NFT the most expensive NFT sell from the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection. 

At the time of sale, 696.969 ETH value was equivalent to $2.7 million. Note that this is the highest sale for the BAYC NFT in the context of USD as currently, ETH market value has lifted up to 42% and marked $4,156 market value in just 20 days.

Blue Background NFT contains the image of a trippy fur ape with a crown, heart-shaped sunglasses, and a psychedelic body. In the image, the trippy ape is biting its lips under its teeth. 

In the last 30 days, this is the third time that the NFT from Bored Ape Yacht Club crossed a $1 million sales. Before this, Bored ape #5199 and Bored Ape #2087 had sold for $1.6 million and $2.3 million respectively.

Amid the boom in the current NFT market, the Bored Ape Yacht Club became the fifth most expensive NFT collection with the sale volume of $567 billion.

Two months ago, The average cost of buying BAYC’s NFT was around $100,00, which is now nearly doubled and marked $196,000.
