The approval for ProShares’ XRP ETFs have set XRP price thriving with it spiking over 7% in hours, even though it was Sunday. While the XRP ETFs are going live for trading on April 30, several analysts and traders are expecting XRP price to surge higher and break above $2.5 at the time of launch.
Although SEC’s approval was for futures ETF and not spot, the sentiment around XRP is experiencing a notable push to the bullish side while all eyes in the crypto space now turn towards it.
At the time of writing, XRP price is trading near $2.32 – up 6.72% in the past 24 hours. XRP is also among the largest gainers this year with it seeing a surge of over 340%, primarily because of Ripple’s clean chit in the lawsuit against SEC.
With now its two days for ProShares’ XRP ETF launch, the XRP community is excited to witness another significant milestone after the recent approval of Teucrium’s XRP ETFs, the first ever exchange traded product for the asset.
How could this impact XRP Price?
The launch of ProShare’ XRP ETFs are expected to attract a number of institutional and retail investors who would drive high demand and liquidity for XRP. This heightened interest – combined with Ripple’s favorable SEC lawsuit resolution and XRP’s 340% surge in 2025 – could propel XRP price above $2.5 as it seems the nearest psychological level at the time.
