The highly anticipated Trump Crypto Summit has officially begun, with prominent figures in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry arriving at the White House for discussions.
Among the key attendees spotted are Fred Thiel, CEO of MARA Holdings, a major Bitcoin mining firm; Bryan Steil, a U.S. Congressman involved in financial legislation; Sergey Nazarov, co-founder of Chainlink, a leader in blockchain infrastructure.
Sergey Nazarov was among the first to arrive at the White House Crypto Summit to meet President Trump and other dignitaries. A Chainlink staff member shared a picture on X, confirming his attendance.
Bryan Steil, “The White House Crypto Summit is about to begin.” He praised Trump’s leadership in digital assets and criticized the Biden administration for hindering blockchain development over the past four years. He emphasized the importance of fostering innovation in the U.S. crypto industry.
He added, “We are turning it the other way. We are making sure that we are developing this technology—blockchain, crypto—here in the United States. I couldn’t be more excited to kick off the White House Crypto Summit with President Trump.”
Along with this, Michael J. Saylor, the CEO of MicroStrategy, and Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple, also arrived and sat next to each other.
Additional attendees are expected as the summit progresses. This meeting comes at a critical time, with growing discussions around the role of Bitcoin, decentralized finance (DeFi), and blockchain technology in shaping economic policies.
The crypto community is watching closely to see if Trump will outline a clear vision for digital assets in the U.S.
