On February 24, 2025, DTTM Operations LLC, responsible for managing Trump-related trademarks, filed a new application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for the name “TRUMP.”
The filing suggests plans for future business ventures under the brand. The application outlines a variety of potential digital products and services, including a TRUMP-branded virtual world.
According to the filing, individuals in this digital ecosystem will be able to buy and wear TRUMP-branded apparel, shoes, and hats in a virtual environment. The virtual area would also have a TRUMP-branded restaurant that provides an immersive eating experience.
Beyond fashion and food, the virtual world would offer TRUMP-branded training programs in areas like public service, business, fundraising, real estate, construction, and hospitality.
One of the most interesting aspects is a digital marketplace where users could trade digital goods and cryptocurrencies. The marketplace would feature only content “authorized by the 45th and 47th President of the United States” and authenticated using NFTs.
While it’s unclear when or how this virtual world will launch, the trademark filing shows the Trump Organization’s interest in the growing metaverse and digital economy.
It’s worth noting that this application is being reviewed by government employees at the USPTO—despite the Trump Administration previously pressuring them to resign or return to the office.
