The Grass network has gone live, and the Grass Foundation has announced that the distribution of the $GRASS token has officially begun.
Eligible participants can now claim their tokens following the recent snapshot, which recorded over 125,000 wallets. The claiming window opened shortly after the announcement, allowing users to check their eligibility and claim their tokens based on their portfolio and snapshot position.
The claiming window will close at block 312762760, which is expected to occur around January 15, 2025.
Grass is a layer 2 data rollup built on the Solana blockchain. It is designed to accelerate AI development by transforming data acquisition and processing. It utilizes a decentralized network of web scraping nodes operated by residential users, enabling efficient and secure data collection while supporting up to 1 million transactions per second.
The distribution of $GRASS tokens has begun, incentivizing participants to contribute to data scraping and processing.
Additionally, the launch of the Airdrop Points Program encourages user referrals and active participation, rewarding them with Grass Points that can be redeemed for $GRASS tokens, thereby fostering a vibrant ecosystem for AI training and data integrity.
