Bitget Partners University of Zurich Blockchain Education

Bitget, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange, has partnered with the University of Zurich, to foster the next generation of blockchain experts. This collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry, providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in the rapidly evolving blockchain ecosystem.

As part of this partnership, Bitget is sponsoring the university’s renowned “Deep Dive Into Blockchain” summer school program. The intensive three-week course program took place from July 1st until July 19th and was aimed at a detailed study of the key concepts of blockchain.

Students had constructive debates regarding technology, economics, and various legal systems, and the curriculum was supplemented by leaders in the field of blockchain. As Bitget experts shared their industry insights, providing students with real-world perspectives and practical knowledge.

Experts from Cardano Foundation, Solana, and Polygon, alongside Bitget’s team, delivered lectures and workshops. This direct interaction provided students with practical skills and insights, crucial for navigating the complexities of blockchain.

Bitget launched its Blockchain4Youth program as part of its educational commitment. Supported by a $10 million fund, this initiative aims to spur Web3 adoption through comprehensive educational outreach, targeting young minds globally.

The top performers of the summer school were awarded prizes, acknowledging their excellence and encouraging further development. Professor Claudio J. Tessone, the course director, praised the program’s impact, emphasizing the importance of high-quality education in blockchain.

Vugar Usi Zade, Bitget’s COO, highlighted the significance of the collaboration. He noted that working with leading academic institutions like the University of Zurich is crucial for nurturing innovation and supporting the growth of the Web3 ecosystem.

This partnership between Bitget and the University of Zurich signifies a major step towards enhancing blockchain education and developing the next generation of industry leaders. Both institutions are committed to continuing their support for educational programs that promote advanced technological understanding and innovation.

The university’s Blockchain Center, established in 2019, showcases a robust team of 65 international experts. Notable for producing 12 Nobel Prize winners, such as Albert Einstein, the institution continues to influence pioneering technologies. It has now become a beacon in blockchain education, nurturing talents who might one day shape the industry.
