Martin Shkreli, a controversial entrepreneur, has claimed that he co-created DJT, a Solana-based token themed after former President Donald Trump, as per the evidence provided by Blockchain investigator ZachXBT.
ZachXBT stated in an X post that he received a private message from Shkreli claiming to have “over 1,000 pieces of evidence” that showed he and Barron Trump, a son of Donald Trump, had collaborated on the DJT token.
Recently, Shkreli, known as the “Pharma Bro,” faced a lawsuit from PleasrDAO over the rare Wu-Tang Clan album “Once Upon a Time in Shaolin.”
The blockchain data platform, Arkham, has started the $150,000 bounty to find the DJT token’s originator and ZachXBT has summited its bounty in this. Right after this, Shkreli sent a direct message to ZackXBT and about the ownership of the DJT token in a panic. Just after that he made this public during a hosted X Space session.
ZachXBT provided blockchain transaction data indicating a significant DJT holder selling $832,000 worth of tokens for USDC stablecoin, supporting claims of a relationship between DJT and Shkreli.
Tokens belonging to Shkreli’s Shoggoth.ai project were also present in the same wallet. However, that address can be linked to someone insider that also holds tokens of Shkreli’s other project’s tokens.
Shkreli previously wagered $100 million with the pseudonymous trader GCR on the legitimacy of DJT, positioning it as the official token of the Trump campaign.
ZachXBT has also found that an account named CWR, the admin of the DJT Telegram group, is also active in Shkreli’s public Discord server, with over 1,000 messages. As a result, he has raised questions about other figures involved with the DJT token.
The Discord username ‘cameronrox’ suggests Cameron Roxborough, who claims to have attended school with Barron Trump. Still, it’s unclear if they’re truly friends or not. CWR’s sudden exit from both the Telegram group and Discord server has left many messages for further scrutiny.
Zach also attached a screenshot of Martin Shkreli, which also shows the involvement of Andrew Tate. Martin even told his friends to buy DJT prior all of the announcements, so they can benefit from the pump.
As the investigation continues, the true owners and creators of the DJT token remain uncertain, leaving many to wonder about the veracity of Shkreli’s claims.
