Arkham Intelligence is offering a massive $150,000 reward to anyone who can reveal the true identity of the person behind the creation of the mysterious DJT token, thereby causing a lot of excitement and speculation in the crypto space.
The DJT token is a cryptocurrency based on the Solana blockchain, and it’s themed around former US President Donald Trump, though he hasn’t officially endorsed it. Since its launch, market experts and blockchain trackers have been closely watching the token, suspecting insider trading and a very concentrated ownership among a few wallets.
However, speculation about the token’s origins grew when a controversial businessman named Martin Shkreli claimed it was an official Trump token.
Additionally, a media outlet called Pirate Wires reported insider information suggesting Trump himself was involved in creating DJT, with his youngest son Barron playing a key promotional role.
Reactions to the DJT token have been mixed, with initially high trading volumes driven by interest in the so-called Trump connection and the overall surge in popularity of meme coins. Initially, crypto lovers had placed bets on the identity of the $DJT token with a 25% chance of it being officially endorsed by Donald Trump. However, the probability has now shrunk to 8% with a total bag amount over $207,000.
However, blockchain analysis firms like Lookonchain have noticed red flags, including large acquisitions of DJT tokens by potential insiders. One wallet address significantly increased its DJT balance just before the token was released publicly, hinting at insider trading or cooperation with insiders.
