The Solana frenzy has once again come into motion, with the Google search volume for the ‘Solana’ keyword increasing over 250% in the past two months.
Data from Google Trends shows that the search volume for Solana was nearly 20 at the start of October, which has continually increased throughout the past two months with the current score of 88. The search volume is measured as a 0 to 100 value, where 0 represents no interest and 100 represents the peak interest for the topic.
The recurring increase in search traffic for Solana has potentially been followed by its price recovery, which has surged from nearly $23 to $75 over the past two months, recording a gain of over 200%, according to data from Coinmarketcap.
The search traffic on Solana peaked on December 8, when BONK was in trend and became one of the most popular memecoins among the crypto community. BONK is deployed on Solana, and it recently flipped Pepe while becoming the third largest memecoin.
BONK seems to have been single-handedly attributed to the recent spikes in the Solana (SOL) price.
