The Japanese entertainment conglomerate and video game company Konami is planning to recruit more people to contribute to their Web 3.0, NFT, and Metaverse initiatives.
According to the announcement, Konami Digital Entertainment will be recruiting a wide range of talent for “system construction” and “service development” to provide new experiences such as Web3 and Metaverse.
Konami has been researching and developing ways to combine the newest technology into its games and other products.
The company soon intends to launch a service allowing users to sell their in-game NFTs through a “unique distribution platform using blockchain.”
However, Konami added that the company intends to improve its organizational structure and speed up its business and intends to grow in order to adapt to a new era of digital entertainment with these hirings.
Konami posted thirteen roles open for Web3 and metaverse development staff in three distinct areas.
1. Infrastructure Development Division
- System Engineer, Programmer, Project Manager, Business Development
2. Production & Operation Division
- Producer, Director, Programmer, Designer, Planner, Project Manager
3. Production Support Division
- Legal, Intellectual Property, Finance & Accounting
