The Bored Ape Yacht Club creator Yuga Labs drops an exciting new teaser for a project titled the ‘Otherside,’ sending the NFT community into a frenzy.
Yuga Labs released the teaser via Twitter and it doesn’t reveal the definite details about what exactly the project Otherside is about. But a big part of the NFT Twitter is betting on a BAYC Metaverse initiative and are already going ecstatic about it.
However, the caption of the tweet indicates that the project will feature Yuga Labs’ newly launched ApeCoin($APE). According to CoinGecko data, ApeCoin is currently selling at around $13.36 per coin.
nWay, an Animoca Brands subsidiary, said on Twitter that it was working on a new play-to-earn game with BAYC. At this moment, it’s unclear whether the teaser is directly tied to that endeavor. Yat Siu, a co-founder of Animoca, is also a board member of ApeCoin’s DAO.
A 3D version of NFTs from collections such as Mutant Apes, CryptoPunks, Cool Cats, World of Women, Nouns, Meebits appear in the teaser. Just a few days back Yuga Labs acquired the IP rights of Cryptopunks and Meebits NFT collection, which is curated by Larva Labs.
MAYC #6923 in the teaser has a bored mouth and sports cream-colored fur. It has Toga clothes and a girl’s pink hair.
Cool Cat #8028 of Wild 2 tier has blue cat skin, yellow sunglasses, a sushi hat, and a white gown.
WoW #276 features rose hair with Yam’s fave earrings. The lady’s stern mouth has a passion red lipstick color. With the rainbow bright skin color it has the 70s Feels face accessories.
And as expected the prices of all these NFTs shot up just after the reveal of the teaser. At the time of writing, the teaser already crossed 400k views with 18k likes.
