DC fans and NFT lovers will be able to mint ‘DC Hybrid Trading Cards’ that feature physical cards along with NFTs. The packs contain cards of popular DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains. These hybrid cars also contain DC characters from the recently launched ‘The Batman’ movie.

People who wish to buy ‘DC Hybrid Trading Cards by Hro’ can find out in-store or order online from Walmart, Amazon (U.S. and U.K.), Game, Zavvi, and WHSmith and at the shop.hro.gg. The price starts from $4.99.

The card stake comes in six different packs based on different ranges of price, Including card Flowpack, 2-pack, Premium 2-pack, Premium 4-pack, Starter 8-pack, and 24-pack Cards Display Unit (CDU). Packs range from 7 cards to 168 cards.

Cartamundi Group officials are excited for a unique initiative to engage DC fans with a digital experience.

“Cartamundi is excited to partner with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to bring a new breakthrough hybrid physical and digital fan engagement platform and solution, Hro, to market,” said Stefaan Merckx, CEO of Cartamundi. “As a company, we’re committed to bringing our partners and fans global unprecedented experiences and innovative solutions.”

The move will shrink the modern world by integrating blockchain technology with the real-life materialistic purchase experience. Users can mint DC Hybrid Trading Cards by Hro NFTs on Immutable X, which is an Ethereum layer-2 solution. The partnership also planned to roll out many other limited exclusive editions throughout the year.

“Trading cards have been a favorite of fans for decades. Combining that enthusiasm for collecting with a custom NFT is just brilliant, and this program brings the DC brand to fans in a way that’s never been done before”, said Pam Lifford, President, WarnerMedia Global Brands and Experiences. “This platform will provide fans a whole new way to engage with their favorite characters from across the DC Multiverse and even expand their ability to interact with other collectors.”

As per the source, Each physical card from this collection will have a QR and the cardholder will be able to access its “twin” digital version or NFT through scanning on the Hro app. Also, cardholders can buy, sell and trade on the Hro app.

Hro App gives a 360° fan engagement platform and users can also create a collection of rare DC art and movie memorabilia, explore DC content, compete on leaderboards and in challenges, and unlock money-can’t-buy rewards and experiences.

With the growing demands of NFTs, many sectors and individuals are falling into this booming space. Along with the digital collection, some collections are adding a physical experience to make it exclusive. Recently, Mickey Mantle 1952 Baseball Card NFT was Sold for $471K on OpenSea.
