Key Highlights
- Tron Inc. purchased 146,502 TRX at an average price of $0.3413.
- The acquisition takes the company’s reported holdings above 711.9 million TRX.
- More than 572.9 million TRX in the identified treasury wallet is currently staked, according to TronScan.
Tron Inc. has purchased another 146,502 TRX at an average price of $0.3413, taking its reported cryptocurrency holdings above 711.9 million TRX.
The Nasdaq-listed company disclosed the transaction on Friday and pointed investors to its identifiable treasury wallet on TronScan, where part of its holdings can be tracked on-chain.
The purchase comes as the company continues to build its TRX treasury while investors examine how future acquisitions could affect the company’s capital structure.
Latest purchase adds to TRX treasury
The transaction follows several purchases made since Tron Inc. adopted its digital asset treasury strategy.
In March, the company reported acquiring approximately 177,819 TRX at an average price of about $0.28 per token.
The latest purchase is smaller than that acquisition but increases the company’s reported balance to more than 711.9 million TRX.
The value of the treasury will continue to fluctuate with the market price of TRX, meaning the company’s reported digital asset holdings can change independently of the number of tokens it owns.
The Crypto Times contacted TRON for comment. No response had been received at the time of publication.
Most identified treasury holdings are staked
TronScan data shows the identified treasury address held approximately 4.16 million liquid TRX, while around 572.9 million TRX was held in the form of staked TRX (sTRX).
The wallet’s total assets were displayed at approximately $256.44 million in the latest screenshot.

The address had recorded 377 transactions and 388 token transfers, including 383 incoming and five outgoing transfers, according to the on-chain data shown on TronScan.
The wallet was created on June 28, 2025, and has remained active since then.
These figures provide visibility into one identified address, but they should not automatically be treated as a complete record of Tron Inc.’s cryptocurrency holdings. Companies can use multiple addresses, custodians or other forms of asset storage.
Investors question financing of future purchases
The company’s treasury strategy has also prompted questions about how additional TRX purchases could be funded.
One investor responding to the company’s announcement asked about TRX held per share, future capital raises and the possible use of an at-the-market (ATM) offering.
Companies pursuing digital asset treasury strategies can finance acquisitions through existing cash, debt or new equity. Each method can have different implications for shareholders.
Tron Inc. did not disclose with the latest transaction whether the purchase was funded from existing cash, securities proceeds, or another source.
If the company uses new equity to finance additional acquisitions, investors would also need to account for potential dilution and changes in the amount of TRX represented by each share.
TRON network growth is separate from corporate holdings
The treasury strategy comes as the underlying TRON blockchain continues to report growth in network activity.
TRON DAO recently said the network had surpassed 400 million total accounts, while cumulative transactions approached 15.2 billion and total transfer volume neared $30 trillion.
Those figures measure activity across the TRON blockchain and are separate from Tron Inc.’s corporate balance sheet.
Higher network activity does not necessarily translate into a corresponding change in the value of a publicly traded company holding TRX. The two should therefore be considered separately when assessing the company’s treasury strategy.
U.S. trading infrastructure expands
The latest acquisition also comes as U.S. market infrastructure for TRX continues to develop.
In June, Bitnomial, a CFTC-regulated derivatives exchange, added TRX spot trading, giving U.S. users another regulated venue for trading the asset.
The development is separate from Tron Inc.’s treasury strategy but adds to the available market infrastructure surrounding TRX in the United States.
What comes next
The company’s next disclosures will provide more information about the pace of its treasury strategy and its financing approach.
Investors will likely be watching the number of tokens acquired, average purchase prices, and any disclosures concerning debt, equity issuance, or other sources of funding.
For now, Tron Inc. has continued adding TRX to its balance sheet, while the identified treasury wallet shows that a substantial portion of the company’s reported holdings remains staked.
