Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) lost $320.1 million during the week of October 12–16, 2026, as investors continued to pull money from crypto investment products.
However, total weekly withdrawals across five tracked categories fell from the previous week, according to data from SosoValue. Bitcoin, Solana, Zcash and Hyperliquid funds also recorded net outflows during the period.
The five categories recorded about $610.88 million in combined withdrawals, compared with $1.2863 billion during October 5–9. Tuesday was the only day when the funds attracted more money than investors withdrew, bringing in $194.3 million after Monday’s $155.5 million loss.
Wednesday saw the biggest daily drop, with $393.4 million leaving the funds. Another $90.1 million left on Thursday, followed by $166 million on Friday.
Ethereum ETFs record the biggest weekly loss
Ethereum funds suffered the largest loss among the five categories. According to data from SosoValue, they recorded $320.1 million in weekly outflows, with withdrawals exceeding new investments on four of the five trading days.
Monday saw $85.4 million leave the funds, while Tuesday brought in $24.8 million. The recovery did not last, as withdrawals reached $129.5 million on Wednesday, followed by $60.3 million on Thursday and $69.7 million on Friday.

BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) accounted for about $299 million in weekly outflows, making up most of Ethereum ETFs’ total loss. Fidelity’s FETH was among the few funds to attract money, bringing in $10.5 million. Grayscale’s Ethereum Mini Trust lost $12.4 million, while its ETHE fund recorded $18.3 million in withdrawals. Franklin Templeton’s EZET lost another $900,000.
Bitcoin ETFs lose $228.4 million
Bitcoin ETFs also ended the week in the red, recording $228.58 million in net outflows, according to data from SosoValue.
Although the funds attracted $175.7 million on Tuesday, Wednesday’s $261.4 million withdrawal wiped out that gain. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) lost about $165.4 million over the week, while Fidelity’s FBTC recorded $60.2 million in withdrawals. Morgan Stanley’s MSBT gained $6.7 million, and Bitwise’s BITB attracted $2.2 million.

The latest losses followed a difficult start to October for Bitcoin funds. On October 7, they recorded $484.9 million in daily withdrawals, their largest reported daily loss since June 25, when outflows reached $691.7 million.
Solana, Zcash and Hyperliquid funds also lose money
Other crypto funds also faced withdrawals. Solana products lost $25.5 million this week, marking a second straight week of daily outflows.
Bitwise’s BSOL accounted for $18.8 million of the latest loss, while Grayscale’s GSOL shed $6 million on Thursday. Zcash’s tracked ZCSH product lost $19.2 million, despite attracting $3.7 million on Wednesday.
Hyperliquid products recorded $17.5 million in weekly outflows. BHYP lost $6.4 million, THYP shed $8.5 million, and HYPG recorded $2.6 million in withdrawals. Thursday was the hardest day for the group, accounting for $10.3 million of its weekly loss.
Meanwhile, a separate CoinShares report published on October 16 recorded $434 million in withdrawals from global digital asset investment products.
CoinShares linked those outflows to changing interest rate expectations following U.S. inflation and retail sales reports. Its figures cover a different range of investment products from Farside’s U.S. ETF data, so the totals are not directly comparable.
Overall, weekly withdrawals slowed compared with the previous period, but investors continued to take money out of all five tracked crypto fund categories.
