Hyperscale Data Inc. (NYSE American: GPUS) shares slipped on Tuesday as the company disclosed that it held 219.9586 Bitcoin worth approximately $19 million as of October 4.
According to data from Yahoo Finance, GPUS traded at $0.1625, down $0.0022, or 1.34%, at 7:22:47 p.m. UTC on October 6. The stock opened at $0.1600 and traded between $0.1599 and $0.1659 during the session.

The latest disclosure marks a sharp reduction from the company’s previously reported Bitcoin holdings. Hyperscale Data had disclosed 1,106.0467 BTC worth about $71.7 million as of July 27, before selling a substantial portion of its holdings to fund its Michigan AI data center and other capital needs.
Hyperscale Data holds $19 million in Bitcoin
The company said its 219.9586 BTC position was valued using Bitcoin’s October 4 closing price of $86,480. It also held approximately $37.4 million in cash and restricted cash, bringing the combined value of those holdings to about $56.4 million.
The disclosure provides a snapshot of Hyperscale Data’s balance sheet after a series of Bitcoin sales and changes to its treasury strategy during the third quarter. The company’s latest Bitcoin position is substantially below the 1,106 BTC reported in late July, when it had rapidly expanded its digital-asset holdings.
Bitcoin treasury falls from July peak
Hyperscale Data’s Bitcoin holdings rose sharply through the first half of 2026, reaching 1,106.0467 BTC by July 27. The company had said its subsidiaries, including Ault Capital Group and Sentinum, collectively held the Bitcoin.
The company subsequently reduced its holdings. On September 1, Hyperscale Data reported that its Bitcoin treasury stood at about 215 BTC, after selling approximately 65 BTC for about $5.1 million during the week ended August 30. Its disclosures later showed additional changes to the treasury position.
The reduction followed a broader shift in capital allocation as Hyperscale Data redirected resources toward its Michigan AI data center.
Company shifted capital toward Michigan data center
Hyperscale Data said in July that it had begun repurposing its Bitcoin treasury strategy to help finance construction and equipment purchases for the Michigan campus. As part of that plan, the company said it had monetized approximately 100 BTC and used the proceeds for the project. It also established a Bitcoin-backed credit facility with variable interest rates expected to range from about 4.5% to 5.0%.
The company had previously announced a master services agreement with a California-based neocloud provider covering an initial 20 megawatts of AI compute capacity. Hyperscale Data said the agreement has an initial 10-year term with two five-year extension options.
Bitcoin mining strategy also changes
Hyperscale Data has also reduced its direct Bitcoin-mining footprint at the Michigan facility. The company said it ceased Bitcoin mining operations at the Michigan data center effective September 1 as it prepared the site for the customer’s AI infrastructure. The facility is expected to support the initial 20 MW deployment under the MSA.
In September, Hyperscale Data also announced plans to form Patriot BTC as a separate business for its Bitcoin-mining operations and related assets, including its Montana data center and mining equipment.
GPUS trades near 52-week low
GPUS remained close to its 52-week low of $0.1599 during Tuesday’s session. The stock’s 52-week high is $3.65. Trading volume reached about 14.09 million shares, compared with an average volume of approximately 21.86 million shares. The stock had fallen below its previous close of $0.1647 after opening at $0.1600 and reached the session low of $0.1599 before recovering modestly, according to data from Yahoo Finance (on October 6 at 7:22:47 p.m. UTC).
The latest Bitcoin disclosure does not establish that the stock’s intraday decline was caused by the change in the company’s digital-asset holdings.
