What to Expect from Bitcoin 2025 Conference Key Speakers, Agenda

The highly anticipated Bitcoin 2025 Conference will commence on May 27, 2025, at the Venetian Convention and Expo Centre in Las Vegas, Nevada. Held through May 29, the three-day conference is the 6th annual Bitcoin anniversary marking the growth, innovation, and adoption of Bitcoin.

With over 30,000 attendees expected, more than 400 speakers, and 5,000 companies participating, this year’s conference is set to be the biggest yet. It has drawn the attention of crypto enthusiasts, developers, investors, and policymakers from around the world.

The Bitcoin 2025 Conference Agenda

This year’s conference is full of sessions about how Bitcoin is growing, how it’s used, and what the future holds. One big topic is Bitcoin Layer 2 (L2) solutions, such as BitVM2 and cross-chain bridges. These new technologies will allow cutting-edge features like decentralized finance (DeFi) onto Bitcoin, which many developers and investors have been eagerly awaiting.

The Lightning Network will also get a lot of attention. Experts will talk about how it makes Bitcoin faster and cheaper to use every day, especially with Tether now issuing USDT using Bitcoin’s Taproot technology. Technical discussions will include debates over Bitcoin’s mempool policy, new opcodes, and the future of on-chain programmability. 

As it gains popularity, the conference will also talk about new financial instruments such as Bitcoin ETFs and lending platforms. The speakers will talk about how Bitcoin is transforming traditional finance and what the implications are for the world.

Government officials and regulators will also share their views on crypto laws, rules, and Bitcoin’s role in the U.S. financial system. There will be talks about privacy, open-source projects, and how Bitcoin helps protect personal and financial freedom.

Bitcoin mining is another important subject. The emphasis will be on increasing the energy efficiency of mining and taking it global. Thought leaders will present strategies for lessening the environmental footprint of mining and new innovations that make mining greener and cleaner.
