Grant Cardone has put a private jet up for sale and quoted the price in Bitcoin: 1,025 BTC, or roughly $81 million at current levels.

The figure is close to everything his firm has accumulated. Cardone Capital held about 1,200 BTC as of late August, built up over four years through funds that pair debt-free apartment buildings with Bitcoin purchases funded by rent.

Cardone posted the listing on X on September 8, showing an aircraft and a four-word description giving the price in Bitcoin.

What the Post Does and Does Not Say

The post prices the aircraft in Bitcoin. It does not state whether Cardone would accept dollars, decline them, or require settlement in BTC.

At $79,510. Bitcoin’s level at 12:30 UTC on September 7 as per CoinGecko data, 1,025 BTC equates to approximately $81.5 million. No listing, broker, aircraft registration, or model designation accompanies the post, and The Crypto Times has not verified that a sale process is under way or who owns the aircraft. The post itself is the only source for the listing.

The Strategy Behind the Pricing

Quoting a depreciating asset in Bitcoin is consistent with what Cardone Capital has been doing with rental income for four years.

The firm, which manages $4.9 billion in assets, launched the 10X Space Coast Bitcoin Fund at $87.5 million on the day Bitcoin first passed $100,000, pairing a 300-unit multifamily asset in Melbourne, Florida, with a structured Bitcoin purchase. The property component was bought without debt so it would generate immediate positive cash flow, with monthly income funding further Bitcoin buys.

The pattern repeated. The 10X Miami River Bitcoin Fund paired a 346-unit Miami apartment complex with an initial $15 million in Bitcoin. A Boca Raton fund combined 366 units with $100 million.

Buying the Dips With Rent

Cardone has described the approach as dollar-cost averaging rather than a single allocation, with purchases weighted toward declines.

The firm added roughly 300 BTC in October 2025 when Bitcoin fell toward $102,000 from a high near $122,500 and about $10 million in February 2026 at approximately $76,000 per coin. At Consensus Miami in May, Cardone said the company had added another $100 million in Bitcoin alongside a $235 million property acquisition, taking total exposure to around $200 million after an earlier 1,000 BTC purchase in 2025.

The Crypto Times reported in late August that the firm had expanded the strategy to roughly 1,200 Bitcoin and 2,000 multifamily units, with Cardone saying in June that the intention is to improve rental cash flow and buy more Bitcoin as the price falls.

The Stated Rationale

Cardone’s argument for the structure is that real estate investment trusts cannot hold Bitcoin on their balance sheets and that combining the two produces something conventional vehicles cannot replicate.

He has said the hybrid model gives real estate qualities it does not otherwise have—describing it as simultaneously light and heavy, volatile and stable, liquid and illiquid. He has also contrasted the approach with corporate Bitcoin treasury companies that fund purchases by issuing stock or debt, arguing that buying from property cash flow avoids capital-market pressure.

The long-term target is 15,000 apartment units alongside 10,000 BTC.

Scale of the Comparison

If the aircraft sold at the asking price, the proceeds would exceed the Bitcoin position Cardone Capital has assembled since 2024.

The two sit in different structures—the funds are pooled investment vehicles with outside investors, and nothing indicates the aircraft belongs to them. But the figures give a sense of what 1,025 BTC represents against a firm that has spent four years accumulating at that scale.
