The crypto community has been buzzing with the keyword RISC-V since Sunday with a similar named meme coin now trending and pumping over 300% in the past 24 hours. It is catching attention from millions of investors while riding the trend wave.
After the Ethereum co-founder and developer Vitalik Buterin proposed to replace the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) with RISC-V in one of his latest blog posts, the crypto space is heated and much of the discussion within the Ethereum community is taking place around it.
As per CoinMarketCap data, RISC-V meme coin is currently trading at $0.000213 – up 337% in the past 24 hours. Although it lacks any significant traction or trading volume as of now.
The token was launched 1 day ago right after Vitalik shared his blog on Ethereum Magicians. He emphasizes that a potential replacement of EVM to RISC-V – an open standard set of instructions for computer processors—would help Ethereum scale better.
