The popular NFT artist Mike Winkelmann aka Beeple dismisses claims made by Metaplex CEO on his partnership with Solana-based NFT protocol Metaplex to bring immersive 3D NFTs to users.
The onboarding was supposed to happen in collaboration with Render Network for whom Beeple has previously served as an advisor.

However, Beeple stated that he was in preliminary talks with the protocol with nothing remotely set or agreed upon yet, and the announcement was made without any discussion.
CEO of Metaplex Studios, Stephen Hess, replied to Beeple by tweeting “This was the result of a miscommunication between the orgs involved, but these were my words in the keynote, so I should have confirmed the consent, directly with you, of what was announced.”
