A play to earn gaming platform The Sandbox has added a new neighborhood Mega City 2 in its metaverse. Following the success of Mega City 1, The Sandbox has now announced the LAND sale of Mega City 2 which will take place on April 28th at 1 PM UTC.
The new entrants include Ocean Park, Regal Hotels Group, Standard Chartered, Gameone, Chord Hero, Time Gates of Hong Kong Pop Culture, Brinc, Tatler Asia, EVI, and UFO school. All these are prominent players in the industries of hospitality, culture, media, tourism, education, banking, investment, music, and entertainment.
With this collaboration, The Sandbox will build a culturally vibrant community that represents the city. There would be 38 regular LANDs that would be put for auction on OpenSea. They will appear as white squares on The Sandbox map.

Ocean Park marked its 45th-anniversary milestone by landing in the Metaverse with the animated NFT. Regal Hotel Group is building The Sandbox’s first green metropolis called Metagreen and has launched an adorable Toy Poodle NFT as well.
Tatler Asia is bringing CLAVI, a gold and sapphire key NFT, that can unlock unexpected secret spots for the lucky few owners. Billy is the NFT portraying a friendly robot-in-disguise that will introduce you to the EVILand.
Brinc with its unicorn NFT UNICO will recruit and empower the next generation of game-changing entrepreneurs, helping them to bring their unique ideas to life. MADWorld’s MECHADUCK, Gameone’s Go Meow, and ChordHero’s CHERO are also some interesting NFTs that may open a new realm in The Sandbox.
Last but not the least, Time Gates of Hong Kong Pop Culture’s POST NO BILLS NFT and UFO School’s UFO STEAM Academy NFT are also on the list. It’s fair to say, these fun NFTs promise an extraordinary surprise for the collectors.
