Founded by Lisa Mayer, Boss Beauties NFT collection announced the launch of a Decentralized Autonomous Organization(DAO) bringing its huge community of over 5500 people together.
As per the tweet, the aim of the BB DAO would be to give every holder a voice in the future of the Boss Beauties and to decide on the fund-spending of the community wallet.
Speaking of the community wallet, it is announced that 50ETH has already been added to the BB DAO community wallet and 5% of the proceeds gained from secondary sales would continue to add up in the wallet.
Boss Beauties 10k holders will further determine the outlay of these funds. The community will conclude whether to support non-fungible token(NFT) artists by purchasing art to place in the DAO.
The community would decide if funds be spent on fun real events or commodities.
Thus, Only Boss Beauty holders can vote from the wallet in which their NFT sits and each BB one holds counts as one vote.
As the NFT community has onboarded advisors in Web3 and beyond and even though the core team will make the strategic decision, with the launch of a DAO all BB holders have the opportunity to participate in the important areas that affect the community including social causes that must be supported.
As the proposals are made in the discord, a team of moderators would elevate the proposal if there is enough support in the private holders proposals channel.
Voting can be carried out through a Snapshot website, a voting system popular in Web3 space.
If someone decides to join the community with the Collab collection, all votes will be cast by the holders of the original 10k Boss Beauties collection. In future, the community will look forward to providing lower voting rights to all the future Boss Beauty Collections.
