After World of Women, an NFT collection dedicated to legendary women for their contribution to society, today, the Boss Beauties Role Models collection has been rolled out along with the NFT giveaway.
The collection features 33 women role models of the world’s role models including Amelia Earhart, Cleopatra, Grace Hopper, Cathy Hackl, Frida Kahlo, Lisa Mayer, Rosa Parks, Ida B.Wells, Florence Nightingale, Susan B Anthony, Zaha Hadid, Shirley Chisholm, and others.
There are also five women in peacekeeping: the Civilian, Community Leader, Police Officer, Soldier, and Staff Officer.
The NFTs will be auctioned off by Boss Beauties on OpenSea between March 9 and 12. Furthermore, a portion of the proceeds will go to support Boss Beauties’ work in educating and mentoring the next generation of women.
To participate in the giveaway, users will have to fill out a form on the website and post a tweet about the Role Models collection and one random winner will be announced on March 12.
To celebrate the launch of the Boss Beauties collection, the curator announced the giveaway of one NFT from the collection to entice active minters. However, only Boss Beauties NFT holders will be eligible to win the giveaway.
The collection has chosen the NFT of ‘Grace Hopper’ for a giveaway to pay tribute to her contribution in computer technology. Grace Hopper was “a brilliant pioneer of computer technology, wrote the first computer manual, and for her astounding work as a mentor.”
The Boss Beauties global initiative creates opportunities for “girls and women through cutting-edge collaborations that empower those at the forefront of technology, leadership, and creativity.”
Boss Beauties is an initiative by My Social Canvas, which is a fashion e-commerce company. The company is involved in a scholarship program for women from over 15 countries. It is the first NFT art collection that was displayed at the United Nations’ event.
