The $LIT community announced WuTangClanD as the winner of the Special Copyright Edition NFT of ‘Survive All Apocalypses’ by NYT bestselling author Neil Strauss.
The congratulatory tweet was also shared by rapper and NFT enthusiast, Snoop Dogg who had recently returned 50B LIT tokens to turn it into what he described as a ‘Cultural DAO’.
As per the tweet, the winner was selected at random via Chainlink VRF to make the process ‘transparent’ and ‘fair’.
Chainlink VRF (Verifiable Random Function) is a provably fair and verifiable source of randomness which is designed for smart contracts.
The community also congratulated all the ‘Survive All Apocalypses’ owners and asked them to “keep building and supporting together”. It has also posted a notice asking the winner to visit the LIT discord group and post in Project 1 channel. This means the winner will receive further instructions to verify the holdership of the edition
It all started when in December, the first decentralized book minted to the Ethereum blockchain, ‘Survive All Apocalypses’ by the NYT bestseller Neil Strauss was airdropped to $LIT token holders which also included Snoop Dogg.
