Key Highlights
- RedStone launched SEP-40 feeds for earnUSDC and USDT0 on the Stellar network.
- The feeds publish earnUSDC’s net asset value on-chain and support collateral use for both assets in Stellar DeFi.
- earnUSDC is a yield-bearing USDC vault token issued by GamiLabs, while USDT0 brings Tether’s USDT to Stellar as a multichain asset.
RedStone, a modular blockchain oracle network, has launched SEP-40 feeds for earnUSDC and USDT0 on the Stellar.
RedStone said on September 23 that earnUSDC is the yield-bearing USDC vault token issued by GamiLabs and that its net asset value is now published on-chain. USDT0 brings Tether’s USDT to Stellar as a multichain asset, with both assets available for use as collateral in Stellar’s DeFi ecosystem.
RedStone’s SEP-40 feeds supply on-chain price and valuation information required for collateral use and other DeFi functions.
Tokenization firm adopts RedStone data services
Another development for RedStone was posted yesterday when Brickken, a tokenization platform that reports more than 150 clients and $660 million in tokenized assets, has selected RedStone as its data infrastructure partner.
Assets issued by Brickken can now access RedStone feeds, T+0 settlement through Settle, and risk ratings provided by CredoraNetwork. The arrangement supplies the data layer for real-world assets to operate within decentralized finance environments.
USDT0 Goes Live on Stellar
The launches form part of a series of recent deployments and partnerships involving data services, stablecoins and tokenized assets on Stellar.
USDT0, which enables Tether’s USDT to move across supported blockchains, went live on Stellar on September 2. The arrangement opens access to more than $180 billion in USDT liquidity by means of the LayerZero Omnichain Fungible Token standard. LayerZero reported that its messaging endpoint is operational on Stellar and that USDT0 constitutes the first asset routed through that endpoint.
Commercial bank tests proprietary stablecoin across borders
On September 9, U.S. Bank carried out a live pilot that moved value between its North American and European units using USBDC, a dollar-backed stablecoin issued by the bank itself.
The transfer took place on the Stellar blockchain and remained linked to the institution’s existing systems for finance, risk management, compliance and daily operations. Bank statements identified USBDC as among the earliest stablecoins created by a regulated bank and placed on a public ledger.
The same infrastructure is intended to support the creation, administration and transfer of other tokenized assets while connecting conventional banking processes with blockchain networks.
Development agency broadens blockchain collaboration
On July 2 the United Nations Development Programme extended its working arrangement with the Stellar Development Foundation. The updated agreement centers on the construction of durable blockchain-based payment systems for development and humanitarian work.
Rather than limiting blockchain use to isolated pilot projects, the partnership now positions the technology as a routine option for UNDP country offices. Oversight rests with the Alternative Finance Lab located at the agency’s Istanbul Regional Hub, and the program is scheduled to continue through 2027.
Taken together, the RedStone feed launches, the Brickken data arrangement, the U.S. Bank pilot, the arrival of USDT0, and the expanded UNDP collaboration represent successive steps involving data publication, asset issuance, institutional testing, and operational use of the Stellar network. Each development supplies either market information, liquidity, or practical experience with blockchain-based value transfer and collateral.
