Crypto Daily Brief: Ethereum ETFs See Inflows, Base Expands, Solflare Unveils Bridge

Institutional activity remained the defining theme across crypto markets on July 29, with Ethereum extending its lead in fund inflows while Bitcoin ETFs recorded another day of net redemptions.

Beyond the ETF market, the Ethereum Foundation expanded its leadership with a new board appointment, Ethereum Institutional secured backing from more than 100 ecosystem participants, and infrastructure providers unveiled new products spanning tokenized finance, enterprise payments, and cross-chain interoperability. Meanwhile, Michael Saylor reiterated his long-term conviction that governments can influence, but not stop, Bitcoin adoption.

Ethereum ETFs record inflows while Bitcoin funds see outflows

U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs continued attracting institutional capital on July 29, recording 2,000 ETH ($3.8 million) in net inflows, according to Lookonchain. Over the past seven trading days, Ethereum ETFs accumulated 20,277 ETH worth $38.49 million, with BlackRock’s ETHA contributing the majority of daily inflows.

Bitcoin ETFs moved in the opposite direction, posting 977 BTC ($62.73 million) in net outflows for the day. Weekly net outflows widened to 7,225 BTC ($464.05 million), led largely by withdrawals from BlackRock’s IBIT.

Despite the recent selling pressure, U.S. Bitcoin ETFs collectively continue to hold roughly 1.2 million BTC, while Ethereum ETFs hold more than 5.18 million ETH, underscoring sustained institutional participation across both asset classes.

Ethereum Foundation strengthens governance as institutional initiative gains support

The Ethereum Foundation appointed longtime security researcher pcaversaccio (pc) to its Board. A co-founder of SEAL 911 and longtime Ethereum contributor, pc has worked extensively on protocol security, privacy, and open-source development.

Separately, Ethereum Institutional announced the completion of its initial ecosystem funding round. The initiative is backed by anchor supporters including BitMine, SharpLink, Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin, and Mihai Alisie, alongside more than 100 organizations across the Ethereum ecosystem. The new coalition aims to accelerate institutional adoption by supporting tokenization, stablecoins, collateral markets, and financial infrastructure built on Ethereum.

Doppler Finance expands to Base with cbXRP infrastructure

Doppler Finance announced its expansion to Base, extending support beyond the XRP Ledger to include Coinbase Wrapped XRP (cbXRP). The rollout represents an early step in the company’s broader multi-chain strategy. Initially focused on cbXRP, Doppler plans to support additional tokenized assets as Base’s ecosystem grows.

The company said the integration is designed to help tokenized assets become productive financial instruments by enabling lending, borrowing, and institutional-grade on-chain utility across multiple blockchains.

Michael Saylor reaffirms Bitcoin’s long-term adoption thesis

Strategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor said governments can either accelerate or delay Bitcoin adoption, but ultimately “cannot stop Bitcoin.” In an X post, he described adoption as progressing “block by block, nation by nation.”

Governments can accelerate Bitcoin adoption.
Governments can delay Bitcoin adoption.
They cannot stop Bitcoin.

Block by block. Nation by nation. Bitcoin advances.

— Michael Saylor (@saylor) July 29, 2026

The comments reinforce Bitcoin’s long-term adoption narrative amid growing government participation in digital asset policy discussions worldwide. Saylor’s remarks continue to support Bitcoin’s positioning as a long-term monetary asset despite near-term market fluctuations.

Reah partners with Polygon for enterprise payment infrastructure

Reah announced a partnership with Polygon to help businesses manage fiat payments and digital assets from a unified platform. The integration supports supplier payments, stablecoin payouts, and treasury operations on Polygon. Enterprise payment infrastructure remains one of blockchain’s fastest-growing use cases, particularly as businesses increasingly adopt stablecoins for cross-border transactions. The partnership strengthens Polygon’s enterprise payment ecosystem and expands practical blockchain-based financial services.

Solflare launches cross-chain Bridge for Solana wallets

Solflare introduced Bridge, allowing users to transfer assets from Ethereum, Bitcoin, Base, and other supported blockchains into Solana through reusable permanent deposit addresses. The feature removes several manual steps traditionally associated with bridging assets between networks. Improving cross-chain user experience remains a priority as blockchain ecosystems become increasingly interconnected.
