Key Highlights
- BitDelta India partnered with AAFM India to launch CrypTution, a structured crypto education and certification program.
- The initiative offers blockchain education, simulated trading, and three certification levels for VDA learners.
- The program aims to improve crypto literacy in India, particularly among users in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
BitDelta India, a Virtual Digital Asset (VDA) trading platform registered with FIU-IND, announced the launch of CrypTution on Thursday. The program is described as India’s first structured learning and certification ecosystem for crypto assets.
In a detailed post on LinkedIn, the company said the initiative seeks to address gaps in crypto education as participation in digital assets grows. The company said awareness of virtual digital assets remains below 30% in India, while many active users are still learning the market. It also noted that Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities account for nearly 40% of the country’s crypto user base.
What the program brings to the users
CrypTution follows a three-stage approach: “Padho” (study), “Seekho” (learn), and “Badho” (grow). The first stage offers a curriculum on blockchain, VDA fundamentals, security, and risk. The second stage provides simulated trading environments without real capital. The third stage is intended to prepare participants for live trading on BitDelta’s platform.
The academic component is developed in partnership with the American Academy of Financial Management (AAFM) India. AAFM India has experience in BFSI education and has trained over 100,000 finance professionals.
The program offers three certification pathways: Certified Virtual Asset Investor, Certified Virtual Asset Practitioner, and Certified Virtual Asset Trader. These target different levels of knowledge, from basic investing to advanced trading and risk management.
Vikaas M Sachdeva, CEO of BitDelta India, noted that other financial asset classes in India, such as mutual funds and equities, saw increased participation following improved education efforts. CrypTution aims to support a similar progression for crypto assets through structured learning and certification.
Romit Barat, Executive Director of AAFM India, stated that the collaboration focuses on structured, measurable education standards for the VDA sector. BitDelta India operates as a security-focused VDA trading platform with institutional-grade custody and compliance frameworks.
Tether signs MoU to advance blockchain education
In a separate blockchain education initiative, Tether, the company behind the USDT stablecoin, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) to promote blockchain education, tokenization, and digital asset innovation in Dubai.
The agreement, announced on June 16, aims to explore ways Tether can support DMCC’s network of over 26,000 member companies. This includes developing blockchain-focused educational programs, offering digital asset advisory services, and identifying practical real-world tokenization opportunities.
Crypto education gains momentum
The launch of CrypTution reflects a broader trend of crypto companies expanding educational initiatives alongside trading and investment services.
As digital asset adoption grows in India, firms have increasingly introduced structured learning programs to help users better understand blockchain technology, market mechanics, and risk management before participating in the sector.
