Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) has launched a major update to its Truth Social platform. The goal is to keep people more engaged and grow its digital network. Moreover, the company also has a bigger plan to bring social media, online payments, and cryptocurrency together.
According to the announcement, the update introduces new premium tools for Patriot Package subscribers, who also access the company’s streaming platform, Truth+. Subscribers can now edit posts, schedule content, and create server-side drafts that sync seamlessly across devices.
These gems allow people to obtain rewards for their activities being performed on Truth Social and Truth+. Additionally, they can be converted into CRO tokens and other benefits, thus blending socialization with cryptocurrency.
Besides premium tools, all Truth Social users will receive improved features. These include AI-powered search that integrates conversation history, group truth titles, and access to version history for posts.
While others can manually refresh the web version or update through app stores, users who have auto-update enabled will receive the changes immediately.
Crypto Expansion and Future Plans
In April, CEO Devin Nunes shared that TMTG is looking into creating its own utility token and digital wallet to enhance its platforms. He mentioned that this token would not only help cover subscription fees but also unlock various rewards within the ecosystem.
While rumors of a Truth Social memecoin spread in May, Donald Trump Jr. dismissed them, saying there was “no truth” to the speculation.
Earlier this year, TMTG partnered with Crypto.com to launch exchange-traded funds (ETFs) focused on digital assets and American securities. Moreover, the company agreed to acquire 684.4 million CRO tokens, valued at about $105 million, as part of a $6.4 billion digital-asset strategy.
This latest update merges social media with blockchain technology. Combining streaming, fintech, and crypto rewards, TMTG makes Truth Social a dynamic platform.
