SharpLink Gaming has added more Ethereum to its reserves. In a latest purchase on August 4, a wallet allegedly belonging to the company received 15,822 ETH, valued around $53.9 million. This came shortly after an acquisition of 14,933 ETH by the same wallet. Together, that’s 30,755 ETH added in just two days.
With these fresh purchases, SharpLink now holds a total of 480,031 ETH, worth about $1.65 billion. This makes it the largest public holder of Ethereum in the world. No other listed company has reported this much ETH.
On-chain data shared by Lookonchain shows that SharpLink’s supposed crypto wallet received 15,822 ETH about six hours ago.Â
As per data from Arkham Intelligence, the same wallet had earlier received 14,933 ETH. In total, $108.57 million USDC was used to buy the ETH, with an average price of around $3,530.
All the ETH was withdrawn from major exchanges after large USDC transfers. This is common in institutional buying, where firms use over-the-counter (OTC) platforms or trading desks to make big moves without affecting the market price.
Although the wallet owner has not been confirmed, the buying pattern matches earlier SharpLink activity. The timing, amounts, and transactions are nearly the same as before. This has led many to believe that SharpLink is behind the new purchases.
Ethereum’s Strongest Corporate Holder
SharpLink’s growing ETH stack shows it is taking a long-term position in Ethereum. With over 480K ETH now held, it stands out as one of the most aggressive corporate buyers of ETH on record, following the Bitmine Immersion Tech reserve of over 624K ETH.
The latest 30,755 ETH, purchased using over $108 million USDC, adds to this position. The buys were spotted in two parts, 15,822 ETH and 14,933 ETH, according to on-chain data from Lookonchain and Arkham Intelligence.
While no additional purchases have been confirmed yet, the company is expected to update its reserve holdings soon.
