The public sale of PUMP, the utility token for the Pump.Fun ecosystem, is now officially live. In just 12 minutes the sale was able to raise $600 million from investors. The PUMP token is now ready to enter the distribution zone.
Pump.Fun expressed gratitude to the community for their high support and added that the token is now entering the distribution phase.
They also told users that the sole official $PUMP contract address is pumpCmXqMfrsAkQ5r49WcJnRayYRqmXz6ae8H7H9Dfn and that the token is not tradable or transferrable yet. Any other tokens claiming to be $PUMP must be viewed as fake.
Scheduled for taking place between July 12 and July 15, 2025, the sale allocates 150 billion PUMP tokens, 15% of the total supply at a price fixed at 0.004 USDT. The event represents a major milestone for one of the more discussed projects in the Solana ecosystem.
According to Arkham Intelligence, The Pump.Fun ICO sold out within less than one minute once the sale started, an indication of enormous demand. As many as 189 on-chain wallets contributed the $1 million maximum allocation.
