21Shares, a leading global issuer of cryptocurrency exchange-traded products (ETPs), has officially launched the 21Shares XDC Network ETP (XDCN) on Euronext Paris and Amsterdam. This new product offers institutional investors regulated exposure to the XDC Network, a blockchain built to modernize global trade through tokenization and real-world asset digitization.
ETP is backed and fully secured with XDC tokens, and the beneficiary tokens are stored offline, in institutional-grade cold storage. It trades under the name USD (Euronext Amsterdam) and EUR (Euronext Paris) and charges a management fee of 2.50%. Its product is registered under ISIN: CH1464217285.
The XDC Network has also been developing as an important cross-border payment and trade finance infrastructure layer. The fact that it is compatible with SWIFT and ISO 20022 financial messaging systems makes it more attractive among institutions. Being supported by large players such as Deutsche Telekom, SBI Japan, and Archax, XDC continues its efforts to take a position at the meeting point of blockchain technology and traditional finance.
In a statement, Mandy Chiu, Head of Financial Product Development of 21Shares, remarked, “XDC stands at the intersection of blockchain innovation and real-world utility.” She further added, “As global finance begins to embrace tokenised assets, we’re proud to offer investors a regulated way to gain exposure to this critical infrastructure.”
Both Ritesh Kakkad, Co-Founder of XDC Network, and Ziv Keinan, the Head of Markets and Partnership of XDC Network, underlined the role of the ETP in the further institutional adoption. According to Keinan, this launch is a milestone in the evolution of XDC Network, as such, referring to the product as one that will bridge the gap among traditional financial giants and the payment infrastructure of the future.
This listing of XDCN is yet another step that 21Shares has undertaken to increase regulated products in the crypto investment in Europe, showing its dedication to the digital world of assets.
