El Salvador President Nayib Bukele praised Donald Trump’s victory in the U.S. election, calling it a “fork in human civilization.” Bukele, a strong advocate for Bitcoin, took to Twitter to congratulate Trump ahead of the final results.
Bukele added, “May God bless and guide you,” emphasizing the historic nature of the moment, regardless of political preferences.
In his post, Bukele also highlighted the significance of the election, stating, “I’m certain you don’t fully grasp the fork in human civilization that began yesterday.” This reflects the dramatic shifts he believes the world may face under Trump’s leadership.
Meanwhile, Trump won the presidential elections in 2024 with 295 electoral votes. A win in Pennsylvania gave him a major boost, with key states like Arizona and Nevada still counting votes.
On Twitter, Senator Cynthia Lummis, a strong supporter of Bitcoin, also showed enthusiasm, posting laser eyes and declaring, “WE ARE GOING TO BUILD A STRATEGIC BITCOIN RESERVE.”
