Moneygram Launches Litecoin Trading Service For U.s. Customers

MoneyGram International, Inc. has unveiled its new service, allowing its users in the U.S. to buy, sell, and hold Litecoins using its mobile app.

The digital peer-to-peer payments company made this possible with a partnership with Coinme crypto exchange. With this, transactions involving Litcoin are made easy for customers.

This is one of many ways MoneyGram has been rendering its services to crypto users. On Sept. 18, CEX.io crypto exchange partnered with the payment service to allow users convert Circle USD (USDC) to cash at any Moneygram branch.

For now, the service is only available to users with CEX.io wallet in the European Economic Area (EEA, Africa, Latin America (LATAM), and some other selected regions.

According to Joel Kosloski, CEX.io’s chief information security officer, the exchange is “actively working to expand these cash-in and cash-out services to more countries”.
