LINK Token Surges 16% Post-Completion of DTCC Deal

The native token of Chainlink, LINK, increased in value by over 16% after the project with the largest securities settlement system in the world, the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), was completed.

As per the data from CoinMarketCap, the price of the LINK has increased up to 16.11% in the last 24 hours. Currently, at the time of writing, the LINK token is trading at $16.22 for the first time since May 6.

In addition, the token’s trading volume has grown to over 1 billion, a 235% increase.

According to the DTCC report, the company has finished a project with Chainlink and several significant U.S. financial institutions to assist in hastening the tokenization of cash.
