The Sei Foundation recently revealed the Sei Creator Fund, a project to help creators and builders inside the Sei ecosystem, in collaboration with Gitcoin.
The $10 million fund will be used to support the creation of new initiatives and the growth of current ones within the Sei community, with an emphasis on its NFTs and social media platforms.
The Sei Creator Fund aims to enable creators in a range of fields, including infrastructure, applications, collections, content production, and live events. Projects in any stage of development can apply for financing.
The application process consists of two phases. In Phase 1, applicants submit directly to the Sei Foundation using the form available on their website. Phase 2 will adopt a community-driven funding method in partnership with Gitcoin.
Members of the Sei community will now be able to vote on proposals and participate in the grant distribution process. By incorporating community members in the process of allocating resources, Sei aims to promote inclusivity and diversity in projects.
The Sei Creator Fund offers creators, builders, and innovators a chance to receive support and collaborate within the Sei ecosystem. Individuals interested in contributing to the community’s growth and development are encouraged to engage.
