Starting from January 29, 2024, Google is making updates to its policy on Cryptocurrencies and related products. Specifically, they are providing more clarity on the rules and conditions for advertising Cryptocurrency Coin Trusts.

After this update, advertisers who want to promote Cryptocurrency Coin Trusts in the United States must meet certain requirements and be certified by Google.

This means that, if advertisers fulfill the specified conditions, they are allowed to advertise their Cryptocurrency Coin Trust products and services on the platform.

Financial products, such as those facilitating the trading of shares in trusts with significant holdings of digital currency, are subject to compliance with local laws in the targeted advertising areas. This policy applies globally to all accounts promoting these products.

In case of violations, the account won’t be instantly suspended. Instead, a warning will be given at least 7 days before any potential suspension. Additional details can be found in the Restricted Financial Products Certification section.
