A chart from Entropy Advisors, along with X post, covers the period from early August through September 1 shows fee revenue remaining relatively low through most of August before rising sharply in the final days of the month.
Context from second-quarter results
The recent fee figures come after Robinhood Markets reported its second-quarter 2026 financial results on July 29. In that quarter, the company’s overall business recorded growth while its cryptocurrency segment lagged.
Robinhood posted total net revenues of $1.31 billion for the three months ended June 30, an increase of 32 percent from the same period a year earlier. Cryptocurrency transaction revenue, however, fell 38 percent year-over-year to $100 million.
Net income for the quarter reached $573 million, up 48 percent from the prior year. Diluted earnings per share stood at $0.62, also up 48 percent. That earnings figure included $0.14 per share, or roughly $129 million, tied primarily to the deconsolidation of Robinhood Ventures Fund I following the sale of part of the company’s stake in the fund. Excluding that one-time item, underlying diluted earnings per share were approximately $0.48.
Adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure that excludes taxes, interest, depreciation, amortization, and stock-based compensation, rose 35 percent year-over-year to $741 million. The figures are drawn from Robinhood’s unaudited second-quarter earnings release and accompanying investor presentation.
Robinhood Chain’s recent daily fee totals are reported separately from the company’s consolidated quarterly results and reflect activity on the network itself rather than the brokerage’s broader crypto trading volume. Data on the chain’s fee revenue and lifetime totals continue to be tracked by Entropy Advisors through its public dashboard.
