Balancer Domain Hijacked 238K Worth Of Crypto Stolen

The DeFi protocol, Balancer, has suffered a security attack with hackers hijacking the protocol’s domain and frontend, which leads to a phishing website.

The attackers have taken over Balancer’s website, which redirects to a look-alike frontend. Crypto analyst ZachXBT confirms that hackers have stolen approximately $238k through this attack so far.

While Balancer’s vaults remain uncompromised in the attack, several users have had their wallets drained as they were prompted to approve a malicious contract while interacting with the website.

Balancer warned users not to interact with its frontend until further notice. The website currently shows severe caution to users while visiting.
